Kristal Madgett, a native of Chicago, recognized early in her career her passion for providing students with varied abilities as many experiences and opportunities to access an excellent and deserving education. She believes all children can learn regardless of their ability; it just takes changing the lens of “normal” to one that considers the whole child and all abilities as exceptional strengths.  This philosophy transcends throughout her demonstrated ability to lead programming for DREAM.

As the Director of Programs, Kristal leads the development of professional learning and advocacy initiatives.  She works closely with clients to the development of appropriate and customized solutions.
With more than 15 years of experience she has developed a unique set of skills that includes community leadership, instructional design, organizational management, diversity and inclusion and facilitation.

Kristal serves as a community leader by designing learning opportunities for youth, professionals and parents. She maintains a hands-on approach to team leadership and leverages her extensive experience in strategic planning to support organizational growth.

She believes it is an honor and privilege to work collaboratively with educators and other leaders to build communities.
