Dr. Nikole Roebuck is an award-winning educator and historic music leader best known as the first female Director of Bands and Chair of the Music Department at Grambling State University. She has built a distinguished career in music education spanning over two decades, including teaching at multiple levels and developing successful band programs. A graduate-level scholar with advanced degrees in music education, she has also led major performances and nationally recognized marching band productions, including appearances tied to high-profile events and cultural collaborations. Dr. Roebuck is widely respected for her commitment to student success, mentorship, and advancing representation for women in music leadership, particularly within historically Black college and university (HBCU) band programs.

Col. Dr. Patricia Wells Thomas is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and highly decorated acquisition and defense leader with more than 27 years of combined active duty and reserve service. She served 15 years on active duty and 12 years in the Air Force Reserve in acquisition contracting, earning multiple honors including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Joint Service Commendation Medal for her exceptional leadership and service. Throughout her career, she held positions of significant responsibility supporting defense operations, program management, and mission-critical acquisition systems. Since retirement, she continues to be recognized for her leadership legacy, commitment to service, and dedication to mentoring youth and veterans while advancing community impact initiatives through her foundation work and philanthropic efforts.
