Overview
We are excited to partner with Healing Hands Ministry (HHM) to offer the Arts and Wellness Program!  This program is specially designed to promote social emotional wellness through the Arts for the HHM community in partnership with Kensington Arts and Education.  DREAM Coaches facilitate our DREAM through the Arts Wellness Program for Youth and Communities.  We also offer individual and group therapy through our partnership with A Holistic Therapy Group.

How it Works
You may participate in our customized,  Small Group Sessions (up to 6) or join our Regular Sessions (up to 15).  

Small Group Sessions
By appointment only 
1-hour (1 Session or 5 Sessions Available)
Up to 5 participants per session
*Parents may accompany child in Group:  Early Childhood OR special circumstances
**Only participants may be present in the session.


Regular Sessions
Dates:  TBD
1 hour (8 Sessions per Session)
Up to 20 participants per session
*Each session (Session I and II) ends with a culminating activity as well as a virtual reflection session.

**Only participants may be present in the session.

How long are the sessions?
Small Group Sessions:  1 hour/session
Summer Program Session I:  1 hour/session (4 weeks; 8 sessions; twice per week)
Summer Program Session II:  1 hour/session (4 weeks; 8 sessions; twice per week)
Family Group:  1.5 hours/session (4 weeks; 8 sessions; twice per week)

 
What's included?
Materials and Supplies

Who are the wellness coaches?
Our Wellness Coaches are compassionate and understand human development and specially trained on our Program Curriculum, DREAM through the Arts.  Experience may vary from youth development, teaching, Special Education, teen development, art/music therapy and/or program facilitation.

What if I miss a session?
Sessions may be rescheduled.

Financial Assistance
Scholarships may be offered for those in need of financial assistance.

Join us for an experience exploring freedom and be empowered through the Arts!  Art is a form of self-expression and it illustrates our emotions and thoughts.  During this U.S. Independence Day and Juneteenth Season, explore what freedom means to you and share your story with others.  This experience is great for the family or with a group of friends.  Children between the ages of 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult.  Register and Pay by July 22, 2024.

Cost: $25/family or group (up to 5 participants)
